Here is the inscription that can be read below the vegetable bowl "Odiot A PARIS 1789", it is stamped on the handles. Founded in 1690 by the goldsmith Jean-Baptiste Gaspard Odiot, the Odiot house quickly became known as one of the best gold and silver workshops in France, specializing in decorative objects and cutlery.
