This was sent to Bonhams; they could not be certain and therefore could not say yes, nor that it was not by the artist. Without provenance, they would not commit.

This was purchased from a small auction house some time ago, and I have now decided to sell it.

I believe it could be by Bernard Meninsky after studying many other works by the artist.
There is a certain look that one can see within Meninsky's portraits and people; these certainly do appear to have that feature.

I am unable to definitely attribute this to Meninsky, but my gut feeling tells me that it very well could be by him.
