- Chinese porcelain red Fu bats basin, a large, substantially potted bowl with a shelf rim and a white glazed interior … more Chinese porcelain red Fu bats basin, a large, substantially potted bowl with a shelf rim and a white glazed interior and inset circle within the unglazed base. The interior is decorated with numerous red Fu bats with gilt highlights amid a dense pattern of polychrome clouds, the exterior is decorated with Fu bats only. Eight Fu bats are on the top of the shelf rim, nine Fu bats on the bottom of the shelf rim, seven Fu bats on the interior side, nine Fu bats on the exterior side and seven more Fu bats on the interior bottom, for a total of forty Fu bats. A red, six character Guangxu reign mark is glazed to the inset circle of the base. Circa early Republic of China era. less
