I absolutely fell in love with this Japanese Teapot the moment I saw it in the Archival Collection in Gumps/Beverly Hills over 25 years ago. I found it charming and captivating. This vintage signed Japanese Teapot is quite unique and very rare. Made of glazed, creamy porcelain with an intricate crackled grey design. The top lid is accented with a small stack of bamboo and tied with twine to secure it. The body of the teapot is beautifully designed and executed in a traditional Japanese style. The handle is accented with hollow bamboo and tied with twine and decorative beads. The stand is intricately designed in mahogany and is the ideal platform to highlight this lovely Japanese Teapot. Measuring 8W/6.25D/5.25H, this is a perfect addition to any room in your home and would make a lovely gift for that special someone.
