This is an extraordinarily RARE Pablo Picasso collotype print with pochoir, titled "Head of the Medical Student".
This is NOT … more This is an extraordinarily RARE Pablo Picasso collotype print with pochoir, titled "Head of the Medical Student".
This is NOT a modern reprint. It is a vintage collotype print with pochoir from a 1946 Picasso-authorized portfolio of his most famous drawings, titled "Picasso Fifteen Drawings", published by Albert Carman from an edition of 500. This image is EXTREMELY hard to find. Others you will find online are as much as $8500. When you look at the series of 15 drawings, you can see the entire evolution of the artist from the turn of the century, to the mid-1940s, and it is simply astounding.
This is one of Picasso's most captivating paintings, originally done with gouache and watercolor. The original is currently in MoMA. This print is signed in the lower left of the plate. We have custom framed it in a vintage gilt wood frame, with acid-free matting, and UV protective, anti-glare glass. All top-of-the-line archival materials to keep this perfect for years to come.
