Our Hungarian dough bowl features a beautifully aged wood finish that tells a story of its own. Handcrafted of sustainable, reclaimed wood; each piece will be unique and may vary in size and made from a single piece of wood, usually cherry wood, or pine. Each unique imperfection and mark on its surface narrate the rich tradition behind its creation. Originally, they were used in the Hungarian countryside for generations to knead dough but today they are repurposed as fruit bowls, decorative table center piece and wall art.
