Early piece in a prescient contemporary-looking minimalist geometric style specific to a collection he did for Hayden Hall.

Represents an angular aesthetic seldom seen in subsequent designs by Johnson, who’s best known for his curvaceous and iconic Gazelle chairs and tables.

Three drawers with extra-thick edges that complement the top, side elements of the inset middle drawer, and recessed front portion of the base. Finished in beautifully figured maple veneer throughout.

Drawer front heights are as follows: top 8.5 in.; middle 7 in.; bottom 10 in. less
