Absolutely Fabulous, 1955, very rare Coral Pink and White 1955 Admiral, Model 5G45N, AM Vacuum Tube Working Alarm Clock Radio
The gorgeous Coral Pink/White cabinet is a very rare color combination for this Admiral Tabletop Bakelite Vacuum Tube AM Alarm Clock Radio model series.
The body is in very nice cosmetic condition No chips, cracks, scratches or missing knobs.
There are, however, some pinpoint tiny black dots here and there that look like the tip of a very fine magic marker.
I have not attempted to clean off these faint dots. They are not distracting as l have illustrated in several photos l was not sure what product to use.
Since this is a vacuum tube radio, once plugged in, the tubes need a few moments to " heat up" and then the AM radio comes in loud.
Reception will depend on your location, but l was able to get several stations.
The alarm is linked to the AM radio. There is no buzzer. Once set the radio will go off at the time set.
The plastic face cover of the radio is nice and clear as are all the markings on the lovely contrasting black face.
The clock is made by Telechron.
