Handknotted in wool, this 5x8 vintage rug originates from Turkey, circa 1960-1970—possibly among the works of Zeki Müren.
On the Design:
This vintage rug is inspired by traditional Oriental rugs, with a particular similarity to Persian rugs of Heriz and Serapi provenance. It features a red field with blue and teal green floral patterns in the border and prominent central medallion alike. Further enjoying a shabby chic appeal - a discerning piece worthy of prestigious projects.
Condition:
This mid-century vintage Zeki Müren rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its construction has been lowered to preserve its construction, which lends it the distressed look of wear and chic in a low pile.
