Set of 4 Elegant Early Biedermeier chairs from South Germany ca 1850, solid fruitwood with cane seating and curved backs .
Beautiful original tush /ink wash painting. Very comfortable, firm seat.
The chairs have great natural charm and appearance of a
sophisticated simplicity.
They are in good and solid old condition, the wood has
some discolouration and signs of use (a few traces of old wall or ceiling paint, not bad) but also a wonderful natural patina and smoothness.
No missing parts, cracks or other damages.
