Offered for sale in an acrylic on canvas painting titled "Horizon" by Cuban-American artist Geiler Gonzalez signed on and dated '23 lower right corner. The painting depicts a diver looking off into the horizon while balancing himself on a springboard. Ducks are flying by in the distance and below is an infinite landscape of a topiary maze. The artist was born in Santiago, Cuba in 1987 and studied art in Guantánamo, Cuba. His style is influenced by the Russian school as well as American Illustration artists. The artist was born in Cuba in 1987 and now makes Miami his home. In his native Cuba, he participated in many group shows and one-man shows where he was awarded numerous national awards.
