Wonderful pair of small pen holders designed by Danish sculptor Just Andersen in Denmark in the 1930s.
Shaped as a vase with adorned putti. Made of Disko Metal which is an alloy created by Just Andersen and only used by him. The color of the alloy was inspired by the colors from the Disko Bay in Greenland where he was born. The recipe for this alloy was kept a secret and after his death no one has been able to recreate it.

Stamped with logo and serial number 1704.

Very good original condition with patina consistent with age and use. Small dent on the edge of one vase, please see photo. This piece has an attribution mark,
