Original, one of a kind, vintage hand crafted Asian style table lamp.
This piece looks to possibly be designed in … more Original, one of a kind, vintage hand crafted Asian style table lamp.
This piece looks to possibly be designed in the shape of a Japanese character or word, however I do not speak/read any Asian languages, so I cannot 100% confirm. When not being used as a lamp, this piece seconds as a wooden art sculpture.
Most likely this lamp was created in a woodworking shop or an art studio, as someone's personal project.
The lamp is very well done, and is in excellent working condition.
The cloth cord is clean and soft, and appears to have rarely been used.
We are unable to pin point the exact wood type used here, as it appears to be of a more exotic variety, however it is very attractive and is in overall nice condition. Very minor age related wear may have the slightest possibility of being found.
Really an excellent piece of design you will not get a chance to buy again, as this looks to be the only one in existence!!
Lamp measures roughly 13.5" tall to the top of the brass under where the lightbulb goes in, 25" tall to the top of the lamp finial, 9" at the widest part, and 5" deep.
