Extremely rare variant of Thonet No. 405 chair by Josef Urban used for Municipal House in Prague, former Czechoslovakia / Austro Hungarian Empire upon it's opening in 1912. Made of beech wood with a continuous leather tacked back and seat of sweeping L-shape, the legs terminating in brass sabots. In original condition with visible wear. Structurally sound.
