An incredibly rare Crestworth Galaxy Fibre Optic Lamp with an even rarer original lucite stand. Crafted in pool between 1968 - 1979 with full signage and proof of age on the underside of the piece.
This piece is a wonderful example of the great British space age boom that happened at the end of the 1960s as there was a pivot from classic Danish design to a more exciting & new style using new materials such as injection moulded ABS plastic & fibre optic lighting, sparked by visionaries such as Verner Panton & Joe Colombo.
This stunning piece is signed & an incredible well preserved piece of the British Space Age renaissance of the late 60s & 70s.

Condition Report:
Excellent condition, the plastic of the light is well preserved, there are a few small marks as would be expected & where the top lifts off some minor nibbling, the stand is well preserved, some minor sun-damage discolouring, please refer to photos, some marks commensurate with age. This piece has an attribution mark,
