This particular masterpiece was made in the late 19th / early 20th century, and is related to one of the most prominent figures of the modern world history - Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India, serving in office from 1947 until his death in 1964
This was one of the gifts carried by Mr. Nehru during his officials visit to The Netherlands between 8-10 of July 1957, presented to Dutch officials, whom he met with
