Spectacular photographic work of the Chanel fashion show with the French model and aristocrat Inés de la Fressange, by the French photographer Guy Marineau. Limited edition of reproductions on silver paper.
Guy Marineau was born in 1947 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. His interest in photography began at the age of ten, although it was already in 1963 that he began his training in a photography company.
Among his experiences, military service was one of those that marked him especially, developing a special skill as a sniper, a specialty that he would apply in his fashion show photography. Discover the world of fashion through the images of a photographer friend of Saint Laurent.
A photographer of great versatility, in addition to reportage, he was sent to cover fashion shows, important soirées and social events or more intimate sessions, especially for Mr. Saint Laurent.
Marineau claims to be a pioneer in the use of the telephoto lens, photographing models on the catwalk without being disturbed by the public, getting snapshots like the one we present here of Inés de la Fressange. Guy was in charge of covering 90% of the fashion shows as a Vogue photographer, although the arrival of digital photography at the beginning of the 21st century changed his career. He considers that now "all the photos of the fashion shows look the same".
That is why we can say that this photograph is unique. A moment captured with a unique and unrepeatable gaze like Guy's. This piece has an attribution mark,
