Also available: Optional glass shelf (not included with the mirror) These elegant mirrors with wooden frame can brighten up your day. The added bubble in front of your precious object create an unique effect of depth. As if your souvenir floats in a bubble! with different variations in colours, patterns and sizes you can create your own niche. These mirrors are handmade in the Netherlands. By developing their own machine in which they can form acrylic glass panels in organic curved shapes, they are able to make showcase cabinets with a magical effect. The most bizarre objects fit in with the advantage that you can see it from all sides. Because the mirror hangs serene on the wall, there is something magical and poetic around it. It all started with the idea to emphasize the current trend of mass consumption. To regain what we already have, instead of buying new products every time. Show your most beautiful and precious object in an organic shaped showcase mirror, so that they reinforce each other to receive more attention. Iris van Daalen & Ruben Thier share their fascination for reflection of (sun) light, colour transitions and materials. Over and over, they see it as a challenge to get hold of these phenomena and to abstract and translate them into sustainable designs. New designs for lighting, furniture, jewellery, home accessories and unique objects. In addition, they design sustainable and bespoke interiors for companies and private homes, into spaces where you feel at ease. They combine their sense of aesthetics, intuition and material knowledge with various techniques such as digital modelling and fabrication or traditional craftsmanships to make use of the full potential wherein innovation and elegance come together. In the course of the years, they gained extensive material knowledge, through research and experiment with materials such as wood, glass, plastics, waste materials and more. Their fascination and urge to discover can be traced back into their motto; “Don’t take the world for granted.” By consciously deal with the sources, their surroundings and impact, they want to realise sustainable designs to cherish and which will last long. Iris van Daalen and Ruben Thier both graduated at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2010 and start their studio in the summer of 2011 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. less
