it comes in olive green tones with an impressive blue flame in the center. The blue effect is replicated onto the upper edge. On the outside shows an impressed geometrical pattern. It has a thick glaze.
scandinavian mid-century bowl, produced by palshus (denmark) in the 1960s, founded by per and his wife annelise linnemann-schmidt.
the couple created and produced chamotte (danish clay) objects, often with impressed decorations (tableware, vases, and lamps). Colors were characteristic scandinavian earthy tones: blues, browns, greens and beige.
many other talented ceramic artists also worked for palshus including jens h. Quistgaard and esben klint.
the plate is signed under the base : palshus and apls for annelise per linnemann-schmidt, model 114 or d/7. This piece has an attribution mark,
