Piece … more English white porcelain platter with depiction of a sailing ship at the center, circa mid 20th century, England, Europe. Piece shows scalloped edges around the plate and detailed colored ship and sea waves in a bright ruby red etching style of imprint. Ruby red thin line around the scalloped rim and a circle with rope design around the ship on the interior of the plate decorate the piece for a nautical vibe of the decor. Hexagonal edges of the scalloped plate on two opposite sides have raised Georgian design white relief. Beautiful as a standalone piece, wall art, or as a jewelry dish (as demonstrated.) Piece is great for organizing items on a desk in an office. Great for vanity to hold jewelry, cufflinks, perfume bottle. With maker's mark on reverse "Wedgwood", "Flying Cloud", and "Made in England".
