The wooden base has cut out ogee styled trim and brackets, and also has veneer pieces made from flame mahogany. As far as I know, the wooden base has not been worked on, only has been oiled and polished during its lifetime. There are a few places where the veneer is missing, but very hard to see.

This is very solid, and heavy. The original top was all burgundy wool needlepoint with flowers on it. It became very worn, so the owner had it recovered in the late 1990's.

There is one section of ogee/cut trim missing, very small like 1", and is hard to see along the bottom edge. The photo did not upload, but I have more pictures available to email you.

Not sure why this wants to know arm height, as it is a footstool. The wood base is 18" x 18". The actual top/cushion is 16" from the ground and is about 16" x 16" wide. See less
