The base is covered in a flame mahogany veneer, with no missing pieces. The posts are solid with no evidence of repairs, and the mirror can be tilted at several angles. The frame around the mirror looks solid, and has veneer on it also. There is one tiny area that may have had a repair, but I can't really tell, and am not a repair person.

Overall, this has been well cared for and loved. It been in the same family since the late 1800's, and can provide provenance if you desire or are curious! The family believed it to be from England, but it's possible it was made in the USA.

This ships very easily as the whole mirror comes apart. the posts can be removed from the base, and all pieces can be packed well for shipping.

The mirror is all original, and has some spots and fading and loss of silvering, on it, but still is very clear.

Asking a nominal fee for packing and insurance. May ship in 2-3 boxes, versus one very large box. Can be picked up if desired. less
