Decorated with cherub like figures writing on pages in … more Early 20th Century Roseville "Donatello" bud vase designed by Frederick Rhead. Decorated with cherub like figures writing on pages in a forest glen. Soft sage green and carmel glazes enhance the raised images and accordion style ribbing. Early "Donatello" pieces were unmarked - as in this example from @ 1915-16. From the estate of a collector - whose grandmother (the original owner) packed up her art pottery for a move from upstate NY to FL in 1980, then never unpacked it for decades.
