A beautiful English Wedgwood Jasperware matte blue and white stoneware demitasse coffee or espresso cup and saucer set, in the marine life style, circa early 20th century, England. Cup is a 1/2 size cup to traditional cups (aka demitasse): great for a half-cup of tea, coffee, double shot espresso, etc. Piece showcases white raised relief with a dazzling string of sea shell scalloped design. Color is matte blue and white relief shell scalloped design around base of the cup and the contour of the saucer. With markers' mark on underside of both, 'Wedgwood', 'Made in England'.
