(Sculptor)». The young man has a sign «FAUCHEUR, Par A. de Raniéri.(Sculptor)». Below, on the back of the sculpture, there is a round overlay stamp: «Fabrication Francaise. Made in France. Paris»

- His artistic education came from the family workshop in Pietrasanta. In 1893.
- De Ranieri opened the Parisian sector of the company in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, producing commercial work in tandem with his own artistic endeavors, combining classical techniques with the popular Art Nouveau style.
- De Ranieri was such a famous sculptor of his time that he even managed to receive an honorary award at the Paris Salon.
Foundry brand: "FABRICATION FRANCAISE, PARIS, MADE IN FRANCE". It was a foundry in Paris where bronze and iron sculptures were cast in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These reproductions were rarely cast in bronze, but were cast in metal (white metal/pot metal), sometimes with fabricated bronze and brass fittings, and painted to imitate the acid patina of bronze casting. Spelter castings were most likely produced for home decor and export markets between 1892 and 1915.
The foundry's circular sign features the name at the top, a burning crucible in the center, and the words "Made in France" at the bottom. "Made in France" in English on a foundry sign in compliance with the US Trade Act of 1891, which required all imports to be marked with the country of origin. less
