Gaetano Sciolari 9-arm brass and smoke glass midcentury modern chandelier ~ vintage chandelier ~ 1970s Italian ~ 24 in wide
In this design masterpiece by Gaetano Sciolari, 36 smoked-glass panels reflect the 9 bulbs, creating a house-of-mirrors effect and making it look like there are many more bulbs. Half the glass panels are 3.5”x5-1/8” and half are 3.5”x6”, creating even more kinetic sight lines.
Solid, heavy brass piece.
Takes 9 candelabra-base bulbs up to 75 watts each (nine 40-watt incandescent bulbs included). Has original wiring, which is in good condition. Comes with original canopy and hanging crossbar.
There is a dent on one of the top covers, which will not be visible when hung - see photos. Some of the smoked glass panels have rust on the brass frames - see photos.
The panels have hooks and are held in place with little brass knobs on springs.
