The vase is made of doubled glass -- crystal clear glass banded with an emerald green overlay. The green is a rich color, appearing almost black at the base of the piece. The vase is signed on the bottom and dates to the 1950s or 1960s. It's in good condition overall but has a chip on one point on the rim, plus a smaller chip on the adjacent point and a few fleabites (see photos). The damage is only apparent on close inspection, so the piece still displays well. less
