The bull is an uncommon piece, particularly in this larger size with the sfumato technique that looks like layered feathers.

FM Konstglas was founded by two Italian brothers, Guiseppe and Benito Marcolim. FM stands for “fare Marcolin” which in Italian means “Made by Marcolin”. The brothers were trained at Murano, and brought their highly trained technical skills to the production at FM Konstglas. The glassworks specialised in hand-blown figural pieces which had an Italian flair. FM Konstglas was pretty much a family affair – a third brother (Giovanni Luigi) joined later, as well as their sister Annamaria. They also hired another italian glass blower Aure Torso.
