These were in my grandmothers dining room breakfront. Though she set a beautiful table, these were for display only. I have never seen the pattern anywhere else. They are Copeland, Late Spode, England. In pristine condition. 1833 to 1847: the company was known as Copeland and Garrett. Marks appear with this name printed or impressed and often include 'late Spode'. This means formerly Spode as the name continued to be used because the Spode brand had become so well-known.. The pattern is 9397, 9 3/4" diameter. This is the appraisers description " Charming plates having hand colored and transfer print floral -filled pale amethyst colored baskets filled with a profusion of scattered polychrome blossoms. Finished with a green laurel wreath border"
