Attleboro, MA, approximately from 1866-1905. This beautiful spoon has a fluted spoon bowl and the handle is interlaced scroll edging with a flower in the middle of each scroll. Hallmarks are: W within a circle with a dragon/griffin with his foot on the circle and is stamped Sterling. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from top to bottom=4 inches, Width of bowl from side to side=1-1/8 inches, Depth of bowl=1/8 inch, Weight=10 grams or 0.32 Troy ounces. This marvelous antique tea caddy spoon has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks, damage or repairs. Under microscopic inspection, there is very light scratching on the back side of the bowl, commensurate with age and use, but they do not diminish the beauty of this fabulous spoon! It is the perfect addition to your tea caddy collection, particularly if you like this very unusual style! See less
