Pair of Baker campaign style low chests (item # 2806 in 1960's Baker catalog - see photo) attributed to Michael Taylor. Lovely soft finish - wood is believed to be mahogany, but could be walnut. Heavy brass pulls and corner pieces.
Chests are currently stacked. See the catalog photo showing one + the photo showing top chest pulled slightly forward to show where they split. They were formerly used side by side - the second set of feet are safely stored and will be included. Can serve in the bedroom, the dining room or office.
They are "one owner" and have been gently used and well cared for more than half a century
(acquired 1960) and they are in remarkably fine condition.
(NOTE: If you need only one, I will consider breaking up the pair @ $2000 for a single -- i would have to check with Chairish) less
