The piece is made with very thin Filigrana ribbons in dark pink, alternating with copper aventurine flecks ribbons, creating an optic pattern. The box has gold leaf accents on the top ball decoration. Created in the manner of the Fratelli Toso and Aureliano Toso companies. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or curio cabinet. Use it as a trinket, or candy box. Mid-Century era. Measures 4 1/4" tall x 3 1/2" across.
