According to the artist, the double dragon … more Wonderful studio art pottery Double Dragon vase by North Carolina potter Ben Watford. According to the artist, the double dragon vase form was inspired by the prevalent dragon lore of Oriental, NC, where Mr. Watford was a long-time member of the Circle Ten Art Gallery. The two dragons cling to the vase with their legs and tails, with long scaled necks forming handles that arch to the heads which curve over the rim, looking at each other with bulbous black eyes, bright red mouths agape. In a glorious shiny deep green. Signed and dated 2009. less
