I’ve had this for about 20 years and I’ve kept it mostly outside with no adverse affects, other than painting it every 3 to 4 years because of the appearance of rust. I just lightly sanded, primed and painted it a flat white. It would also look great in black, red or whatever color paint you prefer (or just the way it is).
