A gorgeous federal style flamed crotch mahogany four drawer chest of drawers by Williams-Kimp Furniture Company out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Williams-Kimp was acquired by Baker Furniture in 1951*. This piece features four graduated drawers with unique brass bail pulls. The pulls have a ribbon and wheat design on the face plate. The inlay around the flamed crotch mahogany veneers, and the outside edge of the top, really make this piece standout. This chest of drawers belonged to the family of a former Williams-Kimp craftsman, who allegedly went on to work for Herman Miller. This chest of drawers is in very good antique condition with some minor nicks to the finish. Please see photographs for an overall representation of condition.
