Offering a unique studio pottery vessel that is at once sculptural and functional. The vessel features a bulbous base with a handled lid that takes the female form. The handle serves as the head of the woman (or women, as there two different faces on opposite sides) and the figure's glazed arms wrap around the base as if resting on her midsection.
With the lid on, this piece resembles an Asian ginger jar or urn. With the lid off, it easily functions as a beautiful round vase. A gorgeous and very versatile sculptural piece.
