I believe the figures represent a camel or alpaca and each has a ring in their mouth. The details and coloring make me think it's from Portugal or Spain, but the lamp shape also leans French - either way it's truly a standout piece that I have never seen before and I could not find another like it on-line anywhere. The lamp comes with a matching shade that is in great condition, so this one is ready to go.
