Description: Vintage, HEAVY (!) fantastic piece of marble, with white, grey and lavender running through it. This came from a prominent Manhattan Estate and much as it is unmarked I believe it to be a Nessen Studios original, the piece of marble is so lovely there's no way it could be a knock off.

Timelessness and simplicity are parallels which when achieved, result in a design that is eternally attractive. Walter von Nessen was one of the great lighting designers of the Mid-Century. Nessen’s sculptural aesthetic was minimalist yet his sense of materiality was quite playful, most evident in this stunning example of his work.

The lamp is equipped with dual lamping with a devoted pull-chain on each socket; allowing for just a bit of accent light or full-room brightness. Each nickel pull-chain is finished with white ceramic pulls. less
