Description: A very fine sterling silver tea service by silversmith Peter Michael Lunn circa 1979, the exceptional workmanship is evident in … more A very fine sterling silver tea service by silversmith Peter Michael Lunn circa 1979, the exceptional workmanship is evident in the casting and finishing work throughout. A heavy and solid set, the surfaces are part textured with a magnificent hammered effect that draws lines in veins down and around the sides of each piece. The set was acquired in 2003 from Payne & Son Goldsmiths Limited in Oxford, England and has been held in a private collection since. Exquisite and visually magnetic, this is a very fine acquisition for the modern interior.
