This is an original production Kaveri Iittala glass set designed by Jorma Vennola in 1976. Vessel is two pieces - a molded plastic base with brand stamp on bottom with an opaque white glass goblet that slides and fits perfectly into its black base. Iittala began creating these pieces as one singular glassware piece from 1987 onward, making this set of 4 even that much more rarified. These vessels are also part of the permanent collection of both the British Museum and Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City. Measurements: 4 1/2" tall
