Lucia Lopez ( ?-2011 ) Cuba / Florida
Lucia Lopez was a native Cuban artist she was the caretaker and Mistress of a wealthy Cuban art collector that entrusted her to care for his estate, paint and replace the art that was looted from his collection during the Revolution.
Ms. Lopez ”Lulo” passed in 2011 her works were preserved by the estate of the collector.
Her works are primarily oil in a cubist manner and figurative drawings and studies dating 1950-80, she sold her works locally in Cuba where she had gallery showings at the estate and Florida. less
