1992 I spend 3 months in Miami. As a freshly migrated Italian in the US, I spend my days drawing people at the beach. So this is why this series is called “Mi ami Miami?” Which translates into “Do you love me Miami?”
I loved the colorful Miami and couldn’t find an art store which carried the colors of my choice, so I used nail polish and colored pen to make these portraits.
The biggest frame is 10.5x8.75” and the smallest frame is 6.5x4.5”.
