Rare sterling silver highly decorative modernist sea horse with fine very large amber cabochon specimen, in the style of Mexican Artisan Hector Aguilar. Marked 925. Measures- 3 1/2" l. x 1 1/2" w. A similar Hector Aguilar seahorse brooch is on the cover of Silver Masters of Mexico by Penny C. Morrill. A similar one was sold in 2016 at 2oC auction for $12,800.00 .
