A tour de force statement jewelry parure of historic proportions! Vintage 1950s to 60s exquisite very fine Modernist Mexican artisan Necklace and earrings by Antonio Pineda matching hefty sterling silver hinged 4 piece set, Hallmarked- necklace, bracelet and earrings with articulated hinged deep set bezel onyx stones in thick sterling silver fabricated by Fortino Mota, who was one of the chief silversmiths for Antonio Pineda. Hallmarked on each piece-925 Taxco Crown-MOTA TASCO 183 in an EAGLE with a sun as shown on each piece. The Maestro Antonio Pineda, the most elevated Mexican jewelry designer is in many museums, highlighted in Mexico Jewelry books, and collections of great fame. Exquisite stylized modern design, exquisitely fabricated. Measurements: Necklace has a box Clasp-16.5" L x 3/4" W. x 3/4" D. Bracelet has a box clasp with safety chain 8" L x 1" W. x 1/2" D.
