The metal work … Read more This is a very interesting and beautiful wrought iron demilune console, in the style of Jean Royere. The metal work has graceful flowing lines and is very well executed. The clover shaped beveled glass top is amazing and follows the shape of the top of the metal base. Cutting a 1/2" thick piece of glass in this shape is hard enough, but to bevel it too, takes great skill. The glass is notched in the back, so a lamp cord may pass through. The metal base does need a new coat of paint, it has some chips and scrapes. See less
