This daybed is an early example of one of the first designs ever made by Pearsall at his first factory located at 296 Madison Street in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. At the time, he and his brother Richard were the only employees, suggesting that Pearsall not only conceived this form, but also helped fabricate it.
