There is an engraving in the bottom of this of 1477. This one is particularly interesting with the small glass decanters. This would be fun to use the cruet for wine or liquors rather than the typical condiments it is known for hosting at the dinner table. In that way for use it would be stunning to be placed on a bar or bar cart as well.
