Dutch silver bottle coasters, ca. 1880 Dutch bottle coasters, made by Van Kempen & Zonen, Voorschoten. The round wooden coasters with a sleek upright silver edge are 10 cm diagonally for the bottle size and the outside is 13 cm diagonally. The coasters are Dutch silver hallmarked with "Sword and the silversmith hallmark of van Kempen & Zonen (1858-1924). The "sword" hallmark was used and hallmarked on silver between 1814-1906. The measurement is 13 cm diagonal (10 cm) and 1.7 cm high. The total weight is 200 grams This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
