The scalloped edge is carried down through the 3 drawer fronts and bottom apron resulting in an elegant chest all resting on four cabriole legs.
The newer, professionally applied finish is in layered shades of a custom blue finish. The paint has been distressed in places to expose the natural wood beneath, enhancing the patina and fitting the age and grace of this lovely chest.
The size makes it adaptable to use as a tall nightstand, side table or simply small chest of drawers.
This chest of 3 drawers has been restored, drawers work with two brass pulls each and it is ready to be used and enjoyed.
