The pillows are new - the needlepoint fronts are vintage and were left flat and unattached, in storage for years. They have very small imperfections in some of the black areas you can see in the close up, but they are consistent with a real hand-stitched item and not really visible when looking at the pillows face on. Also a few of the corners you can just slightly see the embroidery backing where it meets the zipper or linen back. Again, this is because they are entirely hand made. less

They have 100% natural linen on the back side and invisible zippers. They are 18"x18" with hypo-allergenic 18" pillow inserts.
